you sound like australian. are you? good video though..
Perfect! I didn’t know that there were tripods with ball rotation devices.
I’m using a rather old one of my grandfathers, and while it’s still pretty
modern, I’m never really sure what I’m all missing.
I enjoyed watching and listening to you! Thank you.Currently I only have a
point and shoot and a “bridge” camera (Nikon p510) however, I am currently
looking to upgrade my camera. In the meantime both of my Nikons take great
photos and I have been using the a Dolica tripod with no problem. I will
remember your advice though when I become more advanced in my photo taking
skills!
i recently lost my quick release plate of my tripod, i couldn’t find the
replacement anywhere, so i decided to buy a new tripod 🙁
Thanks for all information .
Today I climb the Great Fire Wall ,now Is a vast world outside。When China
will obtain the freedom of the Internet。Bless us。 Americans are lucky
Surly the first thing to consider is how much you have to spend before you
look at any tripods
hey can u suggest me where i can go look for heavier tripods for my film
making? thanks
Also to add… if you are shooting macro.. you would consider the ability
to flat on ground and also the tilting ability of the center column.. just
adding 🙂 Anyways nice video. Very informative
Hey Brent how much is the tripod you favor ? Do all the pieces come
together or do I have to buy separately ? Love your videos! Very Iinspiring
which tripod do you think would be better for a simple bridge camera like
fujifilm hs30exr:
Targus-Red-Pro-Series-60-3-Way-Panhead-and-Bubble-Level-Tripod or
Manfrotto-Compact-Tripod
What a disaster……….continuous rambling without any valid points using
rusty, sand packed discontinued gear. No pros/cons between various leg
locks, ball heads vs 3-way pan/tilt heads or benefits of carbon fiber over
aluminum.
nice video d
what is the squeeze trigger head you used on that old tripod?
i have a fluid head , can you recomend me a good sturdy but inexpensive
tripod legs??
It’s really old – Bogen make I think, but a Manfrotto tripod is really good
too. You get what you pay for. Hope this helps. Brent
I disagree. I would much rather spend a bit more than necessary, especially
since higher end tripods appear to be higher priced due to lower weight
while still stable enough to comfortably hold my camera and lense. The
consequence is doing without a tripod until I can afford what’s best for me
needs. Price is to a certain extent irrelevant.
You forgot how height and low the tripod can get.
agree
very informative! thanks!
Hello Brent, what model is this aluminium tripod at the beginin?
Hey, im a starter, 15 y/o kid, and i love photography. Is a nikon65 tripod
good for start? i cant afford much…
thanks for the information! 🙂 i currently use a canon t3i & a 50mm f/.4
which is also canon. two weeks ago i was taking some self portraits using
my wired remote when my tripod (which had already been broken before, but i
continued to use it like an idiot) collapsed. i was wondering if you have
any recommendations for a new one? i don’t want anything expensive, i’m a
teen on a budget after all. 😉
Hey, I was wondering what kind of tripod is the one you use the most. The
one “that has been everywhere with me” What is the brand? Ive been looking
up tripods online but dont know what one to buy.
what was the first tripod name?
