    Rule number one: *don’t get obsessed with gear*. Good photographs are made
    by good photographers, not good cameras. I’ve seen brilliant work done with
    a $35 Holga.

    Another tip – if your buying some software – go for lightroom , not
    photoshop which is what usually most beginners go for … lightroom is so
    much easier to get around and as a result your workflow is miiiles faster

    the biggest mistake that a beginner can make is shooting digital. the
    absolute best advice for beginners is DO NOT START WITH DIGITAL!! start
    with film, after you have become profecient with film then start to shoot
    digital. that is the best way to become a great photographer.

    Bad thing is:RAW format is takes much more that JPEG.
