Takeaways from Fujifilm’s X-Summit in NYC

Last week, Fujifilm treated us to another X-Summit with another round of product announcements, this time live from New York City. Fuji spent more time fulfilling existing promises than previewing new technology, but like always, they had a few surprises for us. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new, and see if we can read between the lines and make some predictions as to what might be next for Fujifilm.

Photography News: Rumored Nikon Lenses, Nikon Trade-In Event

This landscape was one of the first things I photographed with my new Nikon Z 24-120 mm f/4 S lens. A really great lens for traveling, by the way. Can you tell what volcano is in the photo? I’ll give you a hint! The horses grazing so idyllically around the lake serve as food for the endangered Andean Condors after their death. And another hint: Although the peak is covered in snow and ice, it is less than a hundred kilometers south of the equator.

In this guide, I’ll show some of my favorite image quality tricks for drone photography that take just a few post-processing steps. As a bonus, these same strategies work for images from any camera!

Photographing Exotic Birds Close to Home

It’s starting to rain outside, the days are getting shorter, and my holiday time is irreversibly over. Most of us are probably skimping on our remaining vacation days for the end of the year. What a situation! There are distant lands, exotic animals, and adventure awaiting – but no time to photograph them.
