I really don’t like this song. I’ve listened to it so much to see if it
just took time. But I just don’t like it. I can’t believe it’s going to be
on the same album as Fireproof, which is probably the best 1D song.
The voices are far too processed and they don’t even sound like them at
some points. And they’re back to the NA NA NA shortcut which was already
getting old in UAN. I don’t understand how this can be a single. I happy
they’re working with Danny Devito for the video but I wish the song was
better…
Pile of shite as usual. 13 year old girls will find it catchy but, just
like all of their songs, they will never be remembered like the Beatles, or
Bowies songs.

Shitty music videos always have more views than good music videos. Best
Song Ever was the most recent good Vevo record. It was defeated by Wrecking
Ball, which was later defeated by Anaconda, both of which are shitty
videos.

Yall really need to stop calling 1D a ‘band’ because really, they just
stand there and sing the lyrics SOMEONE else wrote for them, to the beat of
the music that OTHER PEOPLE made. They don’t make the music, they just sing
for 3 minutes and get paid millions of dollars, don’t ever call these
pieces of shit a ‘band’ ever again because a band plays music, a band
writes their own music and a band spends hours rehearsing THEIR OWN music,
and THEIR OWN lyrics (5sos, Green Day, etc) One Direction just looks at a
lyric sheet and sings into microphone, they are called a ‘vocal group’ or
‘minimal choir’ they ARE NOT A BAND.

nobody hate me for this but im actually extremely disappointed in the
lyrical quality of this song. after hearing fireproof i thought four was
going to be a great album, and that their bubblegum-pop style was gone. but
this song has no depth, and we all know better than to believe they
couldn’t have made a more meaningful song. because if you’re a one
direction fan, you know that they’ve had amazingly written songs with lots
of thought put into them, and then they have catchy singles that aren’t the
best. it reminds me of taylor swift. if u compare her not-so-famous song
last kiss (“you can plan for a change in weather and time, but i never
planned on you changing your mind, so ill go sit on the floor wearing your
clothes, all that i know is i dont know how to be something you’ll miss, i
never though we’d have our last kiss… your name forever the name on my
lips”) to never ever getting back together (“we are never ever ever getting
back together, weEEE are never ever ever getting back together, you go talk
to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me, but weEEE are….”), its
obvious that one was made for the sole purpose of being just catchy and
shallow enough to make it on the radio. im fans of both artists, but im
also realistic. i know they both can do better, there’s proof in their
previous songs.

Okay, I don’t like One Direction, so my opinions on the music won’t come
into place, but the lyrics are sexist. You can’t steal someone’s girl.
She’s not your girl. She is her own girl, and if they “steal her”, it’s of
her own accord. She doesn’t belong to you.
Not going to lie I’m a little let down by this song, and a bit
disappointed. I expected something better as the first single off the new
album. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE One Direction, I’m a huge fan, but I
haven’t been loving their new stuff lately 🙁 I feel like the
instrumentation to this song is very cheesy and would have been better off
more laid back/acoustic, but with everything said, I’m still excited for
the new album!
