One of the things to remember when starting a photography business is that
your work will always be changing and improving. Six years from now, you’ll
likely look back at your work and be both embarrassed at your old style of
work and impressed at how far you’ve come. Making changes in your business
is a good thing, and constantly trying to improve your skill is essential.
We’ve built our entire youtube channel around helping new photographers
    succeed and improve their business.

Great speaker and very informative, but show some sample shots to
    illustrate the differences.

The beginning was very well spoken! Light for sure can instantly make you
stand apart. And it is so common for photographers to be afraid of using
    lights.

  11. David Sanders says:

    I bought a speedlight 700 10 minutes before a wedding and I felt like I
went pro in 5 minutes. I got amazing pictures on a cheap 3100 that
impressed the hell out of me…I guess I bought the sigma 18-35 1.8 at the
same time but I couldn’t have been more happy with my results. (except for
full frame) I still found myself pushing the ISO to 400 which I hate to do
    with the 3100….sigh….

  12. Mike Green says:

Solid video; very clear and concise. It would have been nice, however, to
see a sample shot taken with each type of light you showed/discussed –it
would greatly help with understanding how each diffuser/flash works on the
    subject.
