If you draw or paint a copywriten photograph, is that copyright infringment? I have been asked this question and need an answer! Thanks again guys and gals.

if you try to sell it or distribute it, it is a copy, and you did it without written consent of the original artist….it is illegal.
if you did a tribute of the original artwork with the artists consent, then its fine.
want my advice? make your own, ORIGINAL, artwork…straight from your own head.
