    5:51 you’re still holding the camera when the shutter opens. It’s as good as you don’t use the self timer at all

    clear night shots using a DSLR takes practice and experimenting. i’ve been using AF with sport mode and using maximum aperture. my photos have been coming out extremely vibrant and clear. still need to experiment using more sophisticated techniques though.

    Thank you so much … you just cleared a huge doubt which was on my mind for a long time … lowering the shutter speed gets more light into the camera which creates a much better image … all this while i taught it was only a higher aperture which was required for night photography
