yesterday i purchased all your suggested equipment for a cheap one stand flash set up, really excited to learn more with flashes. but im curious as to what bag you use or how you carry around stands and umbrellas and such. seems it would be cumbersome without a good bag. great video, thanks for the help and inspiring me

I have the same camera and it works great for time lapse! CANON RULEZ! How do you trigger your camera for time-lapse? I use a cool remote TempusCN that lets you set time between photos: tempus.bymac.org

I have watched your “What’s in my camera bag” videos from 2010 (CamCrunch) and 2011 (CamCrunch & Dipmvideos). Is there an update? Last time you said:

  9. CamCrunch says:

I’ve never used them, but reviews indicate that they’re good flashes.

  10. CamCrunch says:

Yup, there is a version of the Yongnuo YN622 for Nikon and Pocket Wizard also makes TTL triggers for Nikon. I know that there are also a few other brands that do,but I don’t know which exactly they are right now.

  11. Stan Kosy says:

Hi there! I really like the tutorials you are doing! 🙂 I have a question though: Im shooting with Nikon D5100 that cannot communicate with wireless Speedlites, but is it possible to use TTL with wireless triggers? Or you can only use the TTL only if the speedlite is on the camera or you have a DSLR that can do the wireless communication? Hope heering from you soon! 🙂
    Thanks alot!

I started photography less than a year ago and I have a gripped Canon 600D, 18-55mm and 55-250mm kit lenses, 50mm f/1.8, and a Yongnuo YN565EX speedlite all stored in a 7 Million Dollar Home Crumpler bag.

    What I would love to have in the near future is a Canon 5D MkIII, 24-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.2 and a 580EX II Speedlite 🙂

  15. Yusrin Sr says:

Hi bro, what do you think of Canon EOS 5D Mark III? Or perhaps 6D? Which do you recommend?

  16. CWiyaa says:

Watched your videos, they’re all great and helpful as well. And also, I got my Yongnuo YN-560 II a few days ago, and it works good. But haven’t used it in wireless. 😀

  20. Wee Xin says:

actually what would overpower my camera that i need to upgrade, except the fact that my camera doesn’t have full frame and it’s really small

  21. CamCrunch says:

If it’s doing everything you need it to, there is no reason to upgrade.
