+Philip Bloom , Barbie Camera Challenge – we have taken cheapness to a new
level, in this 27 minutes Christmas Special.
You can work with 240p, you can work with the very poor dynamic range and
plastic lens, but that frame rate…. That frame rate just ruins
everything, not even P. Bloom can bypass that.
This is hilarious and he did an amazing job with such a terrible camera.
That was brilliant. Mr. Bloom proves that content will always be king. I
love this series!
Mr. Bloom obviously takes drugs 😀 😀 insane :D
Awesome job by Philip but it was more about editing than filming imho.
The outcome is so trashy I actually like it
“I’m extending my pole” – “too much information dude” hahaha
You really need to improve on your sound editing.
Cheap camera challenge is one thing, but this is just getting ridiculous.
That was fun to watch still. Can’t lie, the hilariousness of the beginning
especially where he’s presenting the “camera” helped, and all of the other
silliness. This reminds me of Team America: World Police.
This one was really good, showed real professionalism. It was like watching
a soap opera/movie, I was gasping and screaming when I saw “Ken” with Hello
Kitty in bed, I was like NOO YOU DID NOT!!
Don’t force it in, ease it in! XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD
It Sucks. Poor Mr. Bloom, he should have walked out on your project.
Lol I gather you bought the food just to make sure you didn’t accidentally
film a dogme 95 film ?
Phillip Bloom is a G.. nius. Goes to show that it’s not about the camera
but more about the artist behind it.
Philip Bloom seems to have ballooned.
Who ate all the pies?
Philip Bloom, you are a master. I couldn’t stop laughing at the final cut
— very creative.
this is the best phillip bloom film
This is why some classic videogames still get people playing them – it
doesn’t always matter whether a game is made with the latest technologies,
so long as it’s accessible and it’s quality. The same applies to
storytelling media – the very best of movies from this century might be
watched centuries later after today’s media are considered antiquated – I
suspect Hitchcock’s films at least will be in that list (particularly
Vertigo, which is the best film yet made).
If you want to skip the documentary, about 3/4 of the way through this it
switches to what Bloom actually did with the camera.
Philip Bloom, Barbie Camera Challenge
i wannnnnnt itttttttttt WANNNTTTEEEEEE
It was awesome +Philip Bloom, you did wonders. All these challenges prove
one thing – A Pro is a Pro for a reason and that is that they can overcome
challenges and come up with gems like these. Very nice work DRTV keep em’
coming :)
4 years ago at The University of Hertfordshire I was lucky enough to be in
the first ever lecture given by +Philip Bloom
Brilliant to see how well he is doing, and especially enjoyed this
fantastic filming challenge!
Do you think you could do any better?

nice approach to salvaging the low res footage. Cool that Mr.Bloom
explained it as well.
