Photography News: Fujifilm Summit Outcome, Upcoming Lenses from Canon

It’s hard to imagine a more majestic “office” than that of a South American llama herder. Gazing into the vast, awe-inspiring distance through the crystal clear mountain air. Even if the llamas wander off, the view of the surrounding volcanoes is a reward in itself. I’ll be back on the Andean ridges myself very soon, keeping an eye out for the giant wings of condors, and I trust they won’t disappoint me. And if they do? Nothing to worry about! As always, I’ll be on the road, testing some interesting gear and gathering experiences to share with you soon. Wishing you good light as you read this edition of our Photography News.

And really, if you’re serious about making video, you would typically invest in a dedicated recording monitor, either on-camera or otherwise.

Tips for Making a Photo Series: The Broader View of Photography

The main motivation for my photography has been to describe and share my experiences. I believe this sentiment is common among photographers. Yet sometimes, it leads to obsession over capturing the one “great image” of a scene – when the best way to tell a story can be through a series of images instead.

Nikon Z 35mm f/1.4 Review

This hands-on review covers everything you need to know about the Nikon Z 35mm f/1.4, a budget prime lens for Nikon’s Z mirrorless system. It’s a combination of a well-loved focal length and a very bright maximum aperture, and I’m sure it’s caught the eye of travel, event, and documentary photographers already. But how does it perform?
