Why Nikon Should Not Make DSLRs Over 36 MP

Nikon 28mm f/1.4E Image Sample (24)

For the past few years, we have seen many manufacturers push for a lot more resolution. With sensor ISO performance pretty much leveling across the field on most cameras, manufacturers are now pushing to increase the resolution to differentiate new cameras from their predecessors and the competition. Except in some cases, as it turns out, increasing camera resolution is pretty much pointless if lenses do not have enough resolving power to be able to provide enough detail.

Photographing the 10 Elements of Composition

Elements of Composition

For this week’s video, which I published a couple days ago on Youtube, I went to Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado in an attempt to photograph the ten elements of composition in 24 hours.

Recommended Fuji X-T3 Settings

Fuji X-T3 Front

As the third iteration of the X-T series cameras, the Fuji X-T3 is the most advanced and refined camera. Sporting a fast quad-core processor capable of recording high-quality 4K videos, a high-resolution 26.1 MP APS-C X-Trans BSI CMOS sensor, a fast and accurate autofocus system and superb ergonomics, the X-T3 has become a very popular camera among photographers. Despite its many strengths, the X-T3 has plenty of controls and menu options that can be confusing for beginner photographers. In this article, I’ll go through most of the camera controls, as well as the menu system, which will hopefully help our readers in understanding the camera a little better.

Recommended Fuji X-H1 Settings

Fuji X-H1

The Fuji X-H1 is the first of the X-series cameras that features in-body image stabilization. Ergonomically, Fuji incorporated a number of features from the high-end GFX cameras, so in a way, it can be thought of as a mini-GFX. I have been shooting with the Fujifilm X-H1 since it was announced, and I decided to write a detailed guide on how to best customize this camera. With so many controls and menu options, the X-H1 can be a bit confusing, especially for beginners. I hope the provided recommended settings in this article help in clearing up some of the confusion for our readers.

34 Photos of Gratitude that will Make You Smile

At Clickin Moms, we are always thinking of new contests, challenges, and exercises to strengthen our photographic skills while having fun and making friends. One of our favorite traditions is the monthly forum contest. We announce a new theme at the beginning of the month and Clickin Moms members share what they were inspired to capture.

In November and December, the Clickin Moms community worked to create images for the theme of “Gratitude.” We wanted to see how you capture the world with the camera you almost always have right at your side.

Today we are sharing some of our very favorites for you to enjoy here. We are thrilled to congratulate Bree Bain for her winning shot (above) that has earned her a live Breakout session from Click Photo School!
