We all know what a 4K image looks like. With its resolution of 3840 x 2160, it works out to be an 8.3-megapixel image. Double the number of pixels horizontally, and you get 8K resolution at 7680 x 4320, which is about 33.2 MP. Do it again, and you get 16K resolution at 15360 x 8640, or roughly 133 MP. Sounds incredible, but have you ever wondered what a 32K image would look like at a whopping 531 megapixels? Well, now is your chance!

Nikon released its first portrait lens for the Z mount with the announcement of the NIKKOR Z 58mm f/0.95 S Noct, but it was more of a “show off” lens to demonstrate the possibilities of the new system more than anything, especially considering its exorbitant $ 8K price-tag. The portrait lens everyone else had been waiting for was a reasonably-priced 85mm prime, which Nikon finally delivered in July of 2019. The Nikon Z 85mm f/1.8 S arrived with a price tag of $ 800 USD – a significant increase over the price of its predecessor, the Nikon 85mm f/1.8G.
As a busy photographer who travels quite a bit both within the USA and overseas, I have gone through many types of gear in my camera bag. While some of the gear and accessories are absolute necessities I will not leave my home without, others can be very useful in particular situations or when traveling to other countries.
