A Beginner’s Guide to Buying a Camera

What is the best camera to buy? This is one of the first few questions any aspiring photographer would have, especially with so many cameras out there today. My goal in this article is not to say one brand is better than any other, but just to introduce the most prominent criteria that matter when choosing a camera.

Sensor Gel Stick Sale – While Supplies Last!

After many years of selling the Sensor Gel Stick, I decided it is time to move it off Photography Life. With Amazon constantly undercutting our sales (and often selling fake copies), it has been tough to keep the product available, and I just don’t want to deal with the inventory, customer service, and shipping issues that come up from time to time. Plus, we are storing a large database of customer data that constantly needs to be updated and kept safe, something I do not want to deal with in the future. So, we are launching our “mega sale” of the Sensor Gel Stick with a 25% discount, while supplies last. I will support any customer who purchases the Sensor Gel Stick for 30 days after they buy it, after which they are on their own.

I focused on books that go beyond the “what” and focus on the “how” and the “why” which is something many basic books about composition are missing.

Photography Life 2021-2022 Workshop Announcements

I am very excited to announce Photography Life’s 2021 and 2022 Workshops! Without a doubt, this past year has been pretty rough for many of us. With all the lockdowns and closures in place, it was quite hard to do anything travel-related for our team, let alone run a photography workshop! Thankfully, the situation is finally starting to improve, and with the vaccine getting more and more available for the masses, we should be getting back to normal life fairly soon. This also means we can start to think about some shooting and photography education!
