One of our favorite and longest running traditions in Click Community is our forum photo contest, offering you a glimpse into the extraordinary talent and creativity of Click Community members.

The theme of our July/August contest was “Golden Hour” and members were encouraged to enter their favorite photo representing this theme.

Most people think that you need a wide lens for photographing landscapes. I believed this when starting out in photography. I even remember searching for “can 50mm be used for landscapes?” before I bought my first camera. Nowadays, I think of a 50mm lens as an ultra-wide! I usually prefer longer lenses for landscapes. Photography News: Laowa AF 200mm f/2, Comet Photography Opportunities

I never would’ve thought that something like a decisive moment could exist in a discipline as peaceful as photographing land tortoises. Capturing a Galápagos giant tortoise crushing a mandarin it found under the glow of the setting sun turned out to be quite a challenge. Wimberley MH-100 Review: A Gimbal Head for Monopods

In wildlife photography, it is essential to achieve the right mix of stability, mobility, and overall weight of your tripod or monopod system. Although tripods provide excellent stability and are often favored, they can be cumbersome if you need to be as light and mobile as possible. That’s where monopods come in. Today, I will share with you my review of the Wimberly MH-100 gimbal head, which – unlike most gimbals – plays to the unique strengths of monopods.

Nikon Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR and Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7 Announced

Nikon has just announced two new DX lenses for the Z System! The first is the Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR – a lens that fills one of the biggest gaps in the Z System by providing a fast midrange zoom. The second is a fast 35mm macro lens, the Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7.
