How do you take good pictures in low lighting with a canon powershot a630?

Question by aly_hargrove: How do you take good pictures in low lighting with a canon powershot a630?
I want to take pictures of my car in parking lots at night, and I cant figure out how to do it without the pictures being blurry. I know it has something to do with the aperture priority or the shutter speed, but i cant find the right setting. Any help?

your asking a lot from your a630 with low light shooting. you will definitely need a tripod or steady surface to rest the camera on…handheld is a blur every time. keep the zoom wide (aka no zoom) , shutter speed slow and apeture wide (aka f2.8) in manual mode or try one of the auto night or apeture priority modes.
