Question by Sam: What is off camera flash actually good for ?
I’m am considering buying some off camera flash kit, flashgun, umbrella, stand, wireless triggers etc.
I do not have a studio, i just do on location portrait photography, not professional either, still learning aswell really.
Is it a good idea for me to spend like £150 on off camera lighting, when i should be spending it on something, or learning more about portraiture, i dont have a studio. And i guess im going to have to get lighting sometime.
What do you think though ?
Thanks
