The Wimberly is very over priced. The Optika GH1 Pro supports up to 30 lbs
and does the job just as well for less than half the price.
I’ve been looking at lens supports for wildlife photography and found it
quite confusing – then I came across this excellent explanation by +Jason
Odell which was just what I needed to clear the mist.
Very very good tutorial!
wow. so much specialized gear… Good video Jason, thanks.
Thanks for the video. Very very helpful.
Jason, Thanks for the video. As a follow up a lot of photographers might be
interested in the Wimberley flash bracket and the Better Beamer. I am sure
you have these.
What kind of tripod is he using in this vidoe?
Very interesting video, one question, what is the best out of two regarding
price, weight and overall ergonomics?
Duke Nukem! Lol nice video!
THANKS!
How does adjusting the height affect the gimbal head’s ability to balance
the lens/camera? I thought it was only the fore/aft movements along the
plate. I would think that the height adjustment is just to compensate for
terrain or user height.
good
Awesome, I’ve got a budget supertelephoto (a Sigma 70-200 plus a 2x
teleconverter), it’s a bit hard to know where to go with heads and tripods,
so this helps me out, although I think all that stuff is quite expensive.
Enjoyed this info very much.
Cool 🙂
wow best ball head & gimbal head video i have seen so far with examples and
everything thank you …
