Finally real example’s of SS which I can practice with Fanx
Use a ND filter to reduce light coming into your camera. Brent
Brent, Thanks for that explanation of “shutter speed”. I really like the
images you chose to demonstrate your point. Do you think it would be better
use the term “exposure time” instead of “shutter speed”. “Shutter speed” is
confusing because it gives the impression that the shutter is moving faster
when in fact it’s just the time between when the first curtain opens and
the second curtain closes? – Thanks – John.
I will be using the filter for outdoor shots with an fps between 3 and 10
seconds
Yes, go to my website and send it from there. B
great info. how do i stop too much light getting in when doing a long
exposure directly at the sun rise?
Hi your channel is very owsome I’ve learned a lot . If I have a question
where can I send it? Di you have email add?
Hi Brent, what type of camera filter do you use for your long exposure
shots? I have a cannon rebel and I am just looking for the best filter for
it. Thanks in advance!
Most photographers understand the term shutter speed, nice video Brent.
Hi Cal, check out my long exposure course – I have a list of all my filters
that I use plus where I got them from. Some are difficult to get nowadays.
On my website under products tab. Brent
Hi Nitin. I use high speed sync on my flash (canon pro flash), that is the
only way to shoot faster than 1/200sec with a flash. It works but you will
need to be closer to the subject because the flash power is not as great.
Otherwise you are limited to 1/200 or 1/250 of a second. Brent
Hi Joel, it’s 500px.com great website for photographers. Look me up there,
check out my favourites too. Brent
The term is a bit confusing – maybe I have used it so many times that it’s
become 2nd nature. Brent
Hi Brent, Just curious as to what website the photos you are viewing are
off? Cheers.
