Learn the correct way of drawing the hole of the nostrils in front view. Be careful if you don’t know about this, one tiny detail of this can literally spoil the realism of your nose drawing.
i love this channel it learnt me alot of things, thank you man.
like so much

Hi!! I am from Brazil!! just wanted to say thank you very much for sharing
these amazing videos with us. I love drawing but unfortunately I have never
had the chance to learn all the techniques behind it. I am so grateful that
I am finally being able to learn it!! Thank you so much for your beautiful
attitude of sharing these amazing videos!!! All the best and may God be
always with you!
Hi, The grid is meant to be a training wheel tool to help train your free
hand drawing skills. When you use a grid, you are still free hand drawing.
Just on a smaller scale. So you are still developing your skills. If you
want to eventually stop using a grid, just gradually make your grid box a
little bigger each time. This will force you to freehand more and
eventually you can draw with out the grid. Thanks for the question.
How can I draw A Grid? It’s really hard and I can’t freehand my drawing 🙁
i dont get the grid technique, i mean couldnt you just print just the
outlines of the object and then fill in the shadings on your own? and i
wanted to ask how your accuracy for proportions developed while using this
technique? can i be sure that i will one day be able to manage drawing the
proportions accurate without the grid?? awaiting your answer 🙂
very iformative and loed it
hi Following your class its very helpful, what grade pencils are you using
for the darkest shades, its just am finding i get a lot of reflectice light
of the graphite when trying to get near black shades,
In reality is i’m very bad at copying things,i prefer to do it all alone by
myself.so it’s kinda hard for me to copy when drawing a potrait..well i’ll
learn i guess. ;__;
Yes of course. I included the reference photo in the original lesson. You
can find the link to it in the description. (Sorry, youtube won’t allow me
to post a link in the comments).
Do you have to start with the fold of the eyelid? Is there a certain order
you need to go in? i feel like if i start in the fold of the eyelid my eye
will be off balance.. thank you !! -Beth
your awesome sir! im so inspired to this tutorials. . thanks you very much!
I know this trick this even i was using in while i was 5years old
thank u so much!, it really helped me 😀
Hi Seven, Your English is great! Thank you very much for the kind comment.
BTW, those are some amazing pattern’s on your site. What are those?
You’re very welcome!
I don’t like this.. I feel like if I learn how to draw this way, ill become
dependent on the grid and need to draw one every time. Then ill just end up
in the same place I am now with a lot of wasted time
hey! thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! hope you’ll make
more videos! greeting from the philippines 🙂
Highly recommended to not draw from a photograph. You lose nuances in value
and sometimes there is a slight distortion. Instead try to draw from
observation more.
Thank you for this tutorial. I`m from Germany, I found the link to your
lessons on FineArtEBook. First I could not believe that these lessons are
for free, but it`s the truth. You are doing a very good job. Thank you very
much. I want to tell you so much more, but my english is not so good. seven
