@STEPPHAN7 thanks! awesome you will love it!
@shayne233 it may seem like it but i fill up all the frame with the subject
and i use the rule of thirds. when talking about directly i mean like.
having about half the picture blank space while the subject is only a mere
spec in the image.
@Musicmixer1994 for portraits the 50mm 1.8, you should check out my latest
video i talk about those two lenses:). and That tamron lens is good nice
general purpose lens with a nice 2.8 aperture.
do you think the Nikon 50mm 1.8 and 35mm 1,8 are good for portraits? i plan
on getting one of the 2 this year. What about the Tamron SP AF17-50mm F/2.8
Di II? I plan on getting it early March.
@ithree6mafia That I will, lol, maybe I’ll make an un-boxing video and post
it. say, do you use automatic autofocus selection or do you manually select
te focus point and if so, where?
Don’t buy Sigma OR Tamron….ever.
Y u no use prime lenses?
What type of lens should I use for low light portraits? Like taking
pictures in the city at night.
@ithree6mafia yeah, well, you’re happy with what you have and its all good
man. I personally like making the biggest prints I can make so I kinda do
have to buy these really exspensive lenses 🙁 I’m kinda sad, my 70-200 is
going to cost me $2600 atleast every lens after that is cheaper. rock on
man!
nicee tits! i mean tips
@xkal636 awesome! congrats, you will get some great shots!
@MI6CORPORAL yeah the 70-200 is awesome! tell me when you get it :)!
Urmm…No, a 35 mm lens will give you too much distortion for a portrait,
unless you want your subject to look fat. A 50mm is ok on a crop sensor as
they are very affordable, however an 85mm or 70-200mm would be perfect.
Some good tips there. What is your opinion on using lens filters for
protecting the lens? It is just that I have never really used them but a
relative who also owns and uses a DSLR always has a lens filter on his
camera lens and swears by them, Should I buy a cheap filter from amazon or
do the cheaper ones have any noticeable effect on picture quality. Thanks.
lol got some anger issues there?
@ithree6mafia same here, though that being said I’ll go for the closest one
to the eyes
@shayne233 Haha.. Rule of thirds fails :))
I can learn alot from you, thanks for posting eh? I would say if you don’t
like those image stabilized 70-200s, look for the Nikon 80-200 AF-S, it
autfocuses on that D5000 of yours. It was replaced by the Nikon 70-200 VRI
though, but its pretty sharp still. Anything else you’ll do for a portriat?
just wondering, thanks
@chuckiboi5 you should watch my newest Viewer Questions video, i answer
your question 🙂
which sigma 70-200 are you using?
calm down its a video
thanks bro..i didnt i bought the old nikon 80-200 afd instead and man its a
hell of a lens..no vr but image quality is really good.
I agree this guy knows nothing about photography, I just found out about
him and started watching his videos because its funny.
u have the sigma 70-300 right? do u have the gear stripping problem also?
thats all i use for portraits mainly I was experimenting with the 70-200.
watch my newer videos.
