A brand new Portrait Masterclass in London that will be a blast! Not only returning to London and working with the esteemed crew of Nikon School UK, but now Seth Miranda (aka LastXWitness) is coming over! A 2-day masterclass (November 23-24, 2023) and it is filling fast. Beautiful location, terrific models, small class. Great supply of Profoto lighting. Prelim zoom meet to sort out questions prior to the shooting days. Critique, discussion, lighting strategies, live shoots, lots of help. Did I mention it’s a small class?
I’ve always maintained the best thing about being a photographer is the encounters you have and the people you meet, many of whom become dear friends. Neil Freeman and Ricci Chera, who run the Nikon School operation in London, and Annie Cahill and I will have a reunion in London and always look forward to it. We’ll also gather again with Amber Tutton, who over the years has become a member of our studio family, always gracefully and beautifully posing for the camera.

And the fun twist this year is we will teach together with another good friend and wonderful photographer, Seth Miranda, the original LastXWitness. Seth is so adept at all manner of tech and lighting it boggles the brain. We make a great team teaching together. (Plus, as you might gather from the pic below, we can be more than a little goofy.)
Gonna be a hoot, and super instructional thanks to teaming up with Seth, lots of real-time shooting, amazing models and Profoto gear to explore and use. Thank you Nikon UK!
