Everyone should see this, would make a street photographers life much easier.
No Hero here, but thank you. I just want people to have the great adventure that I have had with my photography. Everyone has an artist inside them and when they learn how to bring it out their world becomes one of bliss.
You are a hero
To Old to change. If, I were doing lots of commercial work, I would go digital. Quality is better in digital from what I have seen in all the years of teaching. People who purchace my prints, expect fiber based prints from a negative.
OH, send me that camera of your and I will find a suitable kid who is just starting out.

Love love love !!!!! your videos ..Thank YOU so much ! so inspiring !!!
Afternoon! Have you tested photo sfxart tricks (search on google)? My work buddy Ellen made some unbelivable photography with their video tutorials.
Great advice! Thank you John!
I’ve watched hundreds of videos about photography and only here I’ve found the core of it all: the real meaning behind.
Your powerful message should be treasured by anyone, since it can be extended to all our lives.
Now I’ll keep it in my heart to create a deeper connection with the world around and make it count.
Thank you for making your voice heard.
– got myself a leica m6 after using digital for the past 6 years (i did use film 15 years ago during studies).. I have actually bee blown away by the differnence i can see after shooting 3 films… there is nothing that can reproduce the feel of fim – I think it may be someting to do with manual focus, but it’s also simply film (emulsion) v digital (pixels)there is an underlying difference that is difficult to explain, but so obvious once you start using film again.
Well said!!
I am still using film. I use Legacy 400 which I buy from Freestyle photograpjic supplies here in Hollywood, for about $2.00 a roll of 36. This is a nice film, which I develope myself in D-76 1-1 for 9 minutes. You cant beat the price and you can get via mail order. I do not dislike digital. I am afraid of the change over. Im afraid it will slow me down. People that buy my prints, want traditional fiber based paper from a negative. I think digital is fine for many photographers.
Good videos man!
But take down that camera – I will respect and acknowledge you as a senior photographer without camera as well!
now thats photography with true soul…
cool
You deserve a much larger presence in the youtube photography community. Thank you so much for your videos. I have seen them all and they are very inspiring : )
Fantastic 🙂
I´ve followed this advice. It works!. Tuesday´s market in the street. The local barbershop. A veteran soccer game in the park under the rain. Suddenly I found that the neighborhood is full of life and images waiting for me. I love it, and people seems to be so thankful and friendly.
Thank you for your inspiring videos.
