Question by josie: Digital Photography Tips?
Hi, i really enjoy doing some photography in my spare time and was wondering if any of you (profesional photographers or just those of you who do it as a hobby) had some photography tips on how i can be a better photographers. Also what sort of things could i photograph and are there any good books that could help me. By the way i have a digital camera that is 12 mp and 3x optical zoom. Thanks

First, learn the manual settings on your camera, you won’t regret it. Once you do this you will have all kinds of ideas. Photographing your local water source with an open shutter or traffic at night, etc. Take lots of photos and carry your camera with you everywhere you go. The more photos you take, the more ideas you’ll get. Imagination is a muscle that needs to be worked. When I feel like photographing, but have no idea what to photograph, I will take a long walk with my camera and shoot whatever strikes me at the moment. The only way you’ll discover what you love to photograph is by photographing everything. Take your photographer self out on dates. This means just you and your camera, no one else–other people just slow you down. Good luck!
