Seriously, your videos are so helpful. I don’t resort to using the Auto mode (unless I’m feeling lazy) anymore. You’ve really been helpful. And since I’m American, I have to say you have a pleasant ascent (:

I can’t thank you enough for these videos. I recently got the SX40 and had no clue how to use it. I’ve watched everyone of these videos and have made notes along the way. I plan on typing them out to have with me at all times. Thank you so much!! 🙂

Hi..can u make a tutorial on how to use this camera to film.how to set up lighting and blur…thankss

  7. FatDragon100 says:

Yup! Try a Neutral Density filter. 8x should be nice and dark, it puts a sheet of darkened glass over your lens so that the picture can take in the water movement without over exposing as the sensor will take longer to receive the light.

hope you are doing good, Quick question
I tried slow shutter speed in daylight to capture smooth effect of waterfalls, however there is too much of light coming in as a result the picture is not visible. I limited the ISO to 100 but still i couldnt take pictures with lower shutter speed in broad daylight. Do you have suggestions ?
