Question by Sarah: Best camera for photography?
I want a camera that can take very clear shots. I don’t want to spend over $ 700. I don’t know much about photography, but I’m planning on taking classes. If anyone could suggest a good camera that would be lovely.

You could have saved yourself 5 points by entering your question in the search box and perusing the 754,986,365 answers to this identical question. It gets asked a million times a week. Any camera can take very clear shots, in the hands of someone who knows how to use it. If you are planning to take classes, then presumably you want to learn the basics of photography. For this, you need a camera with fully manual controls. Look at bridge cameras within your budget.

I say do not waste your money on a bridge camera, as that is little more than a point and shoot with more zoom and a modicum of more control.
You might as well start with any ENTRY LEVEL DSLR. Any of the major brands will do, Nikon and Canon being the most popular, but Pentax also has some terrific camera and kit lens combinations that will fit into your budget.
Skill level always trumps physical equipment.

I suggest any canon camera. Although that is my opinion. I currently have the Canon PowerShot A2300 IS 16.0 MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and the quality is spectacular. I bought it off from amazon.com with a low cost of $ 99 plus shipping and handling of course.
I recommend Canon T3i due to its high image quality, user friendliness and high performance. Canon T3i is a 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera and DIGIC 4 Imaging with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens.
Here is a review of a professional about T3i, I hope it will aid your decision:

Since this is the first time you are purchasing a DSLR, you should go for a DSLR which aids your photography rather than making it a complex one and for that, T3i is a best option under your suggested price because it matches your requirements.
Some of the main features of T3i are:
T3i has 18.0 MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 Image Processor for high image quality and speed
It has video Snapshot features for enhanced video shooting options and a Vari-angle 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor (3:2) for shooting at high or low angles and 1,040,000-dot VGA with reflection reduction
ISO 100 – 6400 for shooting from bright to dim light
I hope it will work for you
