Lowepro Updates Their Affordable Over-The-Shoulder Sling Bag

Fans of the one-arm sling backpacks should take a look at Lowepro’s redesign of their SlingShot series, the SlingShot Edge. Designed to be lightweight and easy to carry, the Slingshot features padded, dedicated compartments to hold camera gear, tablets and other daytime essentials without becoming overburdened. The bag comes in two sizes: The Slingshot Edge 150 AW is designed to hold a mirrorless/compact system camera with attached lens, a second lens, a small tablet and personal items. The larger Slingshot Edge 250 AW can accommodate a compact DSLR camera with attached lens, an extra lens, flash, full-size tablet and additional personal gear. Both bags come complete with a built-in All Weather AW Cover. Oh and hey, both are pretty affordable at under $ 110.

A small tripod can be attached to the back of the pack, and multiple pockets will let you store all manner of objects from power bars, to your cell phone, hard drive or an intervelometer kit for impromptu city timelapsing.
