I love to see someone drawing backwards! It is really hard and you must be
very self concious to draw contrast colors and not fucking up the picture.
But you sir, you are a example of doing it right! Nicely done, beautiful
    story on his face

  5. arash zarrabi says:

Very pretty and filled with power, but if the palette was seen better

  6. Ramona Lindsay says:

    I will…one day I’ll master it! Thank : D

Really amazing work! I’m not particularly well versed in art but it brings
the work of Lucian Freud to mind. I hope this doesn’t sound silly but could
I ask what medium you used?

  8. Alex B. says:

I don’t know hehe that’s why I try to get some insight. But it’s not like
it’s uncommon practice to premix a palette. But mixing along works fine for
you, visibly. So I would never say it’s a must to premix.

  9. Zimou Tan says:

Thank you, I believe you can paint like this or better, when you have put
    enough time into it.

  10. شهاب المقرمي says:

  12. chee ho says:

Alla prima is the most difficult style of oil painting – amazing work!! It
will be even more instructional if you can include some shots of your
palette when mixing colors . Thanks again for this wonderful instructional
    work.

    What’s the music ??

  14. X13ful says:

I wish. . .I could say the same. . .but I want this so bad.

  15. Ann L says:

Wow this is an extraordinary painting, the painting is life like. I’m
pleasantly surprised you didn’t need to make a sketch before applying
paint. wrinkles are so hard to execute you have to have a light hand
approach. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Great work!

Sorry, don’t know what you really mean.

  18. Zimou Tan says:

I am glad you like the painting and the process. Painting is like a brush
    dances on the canvas.

  19. Zimou Tan says:

I never premix the color for any of my painting.

  20. Zimou Tan says:

Just keep painting, and you will.
