Nice one ,, i have a question i like street photography like this one and
adore how it looks when i focus on a person in crowdness but hate how ppl
look at me and try to figure out whats going on ,, that give me a shyness u
know to continue street photography and i stoped it then .. what do u
    advice ??

this is like the 10th straight episode I’ve watch from your channel, you’re
quite addicting! -Really enjoy watching you, I do hope you improve your
    audio. Great content.

inspiring to shoot more in a crowded place/streets than to look for
controlled places! the quality of bokeh is just spectacular! I own a crop
body (Nikon D5200, D300) and two primes (35mm, 50mm 1.8) and I so wanna try
to shoot with an 85mm in my crop body and see how it will go 😀 thanks a
    lot for the video!

    Me on a London photo-shoot ! :)

  5. ItsMe Dan says:

Its due to the aperture your getting the blurriness. The 85mm is an amazing
lens, I have the 35mm its great for bokeh.

The white dress on the bridge was very nice…. It looked as if she was
    completely lost.

  7. Dave Emmerson says:

Inspired by this one, think I need to hit the streets of Newcastle

  8. Yu2beFool says:

Have you ever thought of taking the picture with Tanya on the bridge faced
in opposite direction to the crowd?
It would emphasize this awkwardness and alienating feeling, would it not?

  9. John Hames says:

Imogen, you are absolutely gorgeous in the new set of images at Victoria
Station, and the ones at Oxford Street. Wow! (and I love Mark’s comment:
very good, Imogen). Now, get back inside and warm up!

  10. iBeachHD says:

Beautiful & classy as usual! Great idea and stunning photos! Happy New
year 2014! Looking forward to your next video, love the 85mm photos –
    Cheers!

    Wunderbar

  12. johnAshpool says:

I didn’t know photo shoots require such long, painstaking minutes of hard
work! It certainly doesn’t look enjoyable, at least to introverts like me.

  13. DrgnSpawn says:

The bokeh on that 85mm is awesome!

  14. Robb Wilson says:

Another fine tutorial. The both of you handled yourselves well in the
crowds, which are definitely not easy to work around. Very good
recreations. I’m almost expecting someday for you to be calling the shots,
Imogen, as Mark’s knowledge and skills seem to rub off on you in your
comments. Or, maybe you are just so good at articulating them to us. Thanks
again for sharing this information with us.

  15. Paul E says:

Great video, thanks. Loved the ending.

  16. Henrique Oliveira says:

very nice video =) I’m learning a lot about photography since I subscribed
    to your channel, Imolen.

  17. blue28119 says:

Great video i liked this one very helpful to learn. Very brave too
shooting and filming in big london crowds well done both of you.

  18. Timothy Ward says:

Try a similar shot with a slow shutter speed so you capture the blurred
movement of people in the background. You will need the model to stand
still and a tripod to reduce camera shake :)

  19. Fan of THG, HIMYM says:

Interesting facts 🙂 You’re so beautiful with your long, brown hair 🙂 Very
good photos of you again :)

  20. William Mills says:

Well made and interesting. You have a bubbly engaging manner.

  21. Andrew Frost says:

Another great and informative video. I can only agree with bye positive
comments already made. You and Mark achieve some truly lovely images. I’m
particularly drawn by your melancholy and somber expression which really
injects a great sense of mood into your images and elevates them.

In this video I love how you and Mark make reference and great usage of the
    light.

  22. Jeff Thomas says:

The final results are just spectacular! Although I wished you smiled more
in your photos. You do have a great smile! :)

  23. Vai Soton says:

Next time I go to London, i’m going to try this !!
    It’s gonna be soon 😀 😀 .. Once again Good Work 🙂 🙂

  24. TK Imagine Studio says:

Nice to see how have you changed from the earlier shot.

    Love the long hair!

In contrast to other opinions, I would suggest to not start smiling in your
images. Your sober and earnest expressions are a key factor in your images
    so please keep them.

    so inspiring… i will try
